I used to be the same way. No matter what was going on in life I always seem depressed. I cried myself to sleep some nights, tried cutting, etc. You know what got me through depression? God. The Bible. The Holy Spirit. You may feel alone, but God is always there, and he loves you with a love so intense no human could ever match up to it. Your life may feel empty and worthless, but it's because you're missing something big, something important. The reason being is that nothing can ever fill that God-shaped hole in your heart. With that hole not being filled, your heart almost empty.

Keyboard Harmony Exam?

I can't speak from personal experience, because i prepare my students for written theory exams and not these ones, it's just what i'm more familiar and comfortable with. i have a friend though who's been teaching for probably 30 yrs, and quite experienced with theory, and she prefers these exams to the written ones. according to her, the students find these exams easier than the written ones. to be encouraging though, it's been my experience that when a student clearly cares as much about how well they do as you do, then they care enough to prepare themselves well for examinations. to give you a bit of general advice though, played exams tend to go better when you're relaxed through the process, so try not to work yourself up too much:) good luck!

Ok so were driving in the car and she says some very dumb things like " you know why the car windows are dark" and I say " why" and she said " so you can't see inside and get shot". My husband and I were planning on going to a friend's house for dinner yesterday. THEN he came back in and started screaming. Then I finally gave in..he seemed to cool off, but once we said, "bye" to the friend and we closed the door, he slapped me hard on my butt without saying anything...(it was not a s.exy kind of slap..I didn't misinterapt anything) I got mad again and walked back to my friends house. I started calling all my ex lovers and friends (I know bad on my part) This was an on going battle till 3 am in the morning. Hello. I just had an interview, and it went very well. I loved the working environment, and the hiring manager seemed to like me. The only problem is that they offered me much less that I expect as a salary. I am almost positive that I will not accept the offer if they pick me or will try to negotiate the salary. My question is, I know that it is the right thing to do to send a Thank You email after the interview, but given that I probably will not take the job, will it not be misleading to send the letter? Given that the manager already told me that it was my decision whether or not to accept the job with such a modest salary, I am afraid sending a Thank You letter may give them the idea that I am ok with the salary. Ladies, female friend opinion?

I'd really like to know if you think my female friend might have feelings for me. We've worked together for 2 years now. We're really close and she trusts me quite a bit. As a background she has told me that in general she is a shy person. We usually have boundaries up since we're "friends" and both are in relationships but I've noticed that she's touched me on the arm when i make her laugh or I got slapped recently (in front of others) for teasing her. This is only when I catch her off guard with a joke or teasing cause she is usually reserved and composed. But at other times she seems distant so I can't figure it out. Should I tell my mortgage brokers anything?

I am in the process of purchasing a home, and I have obtained pre-approvals from four different brokers. Once I am under contract, then I will lock in the rate with the one broker who will provide me with the best rate on that date. Right now, none of the brokers is aware that I am working with other brokers. All of them have been extremely helpful in the process so far. As a professional courtesy, should I let each of them know in advance that I have other brokers lined up and may not end up choosing his/her firm once I am under contract? Honest opinions of Europeans towards Americans, and perhaps even vise versa?

I'm American, and personally find it a wonderful country. I find our history fascinating, the way we made a powerful nation out of literally nothing. I love being able to call my country the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. I admire America and my American ancestors as do many others, which I don't think is a just reason to call us arrogant and too patriotic. And what about the accents? American women practically swoon over British guys with the accent and all (I know I do!) but do Europeans find American accents unpleasant?I know you all think we are loud and authoritative, and I agree, it's just how many of us naturally speak, but not in a disrespectful way. I myself actually tend to think of British people as being very quiet and reserved. Americans think of Europeans in general to be attractive people, is that thought returned? Just curious. And please do elaborate on your thoughts of Americans and why many of you find us untrustworthy, ruining the world, uneducated, greedy, etc. And I also heard other cultures feel we smile too much but our smiles are void of any warmth or friendliness and our eyes appear cold and calculating.. That definitely doesn't seem the case to me. We do smile a lot, at strangers passing on the sidewalk or while just relaxing with friends, but it's not meant to be misleading or a sham of friendliness. And our eyes? Really? Listening to the upcoming Gop canditates and main streat media, I notice that there are not a lot of positive or even encouraging words coming out of interviews, debates. I realise that the current president has tried that approach in the past by trying encourage everybody to do better, encouraging education and innovation without avail; he was touted as too liberal. Meaning what? This may sound a little silly, but as a business owner, I can tell you that few encouragong words go a long way to promoting productivity and profitability. Another way the media can contribute, is to focus on what is working instead of what is not.

I really think it is a poor site with very poor customer service. It is not worth the money to join, and they make it big hassle to quit. Not a nice clean check of the box and your done. I would just like advice on my boss feeling like he can just pop pple on the hand like were his 5 yr old children. I purchased a new laptop yesterday and the specs don't match the advertisements. The sign at the store and the website description both stated that the laptop has an AMD A6-3400M APU Quad-Core 2.3ghz processor. However, the specs in the system section of the control panel lists the processor as just a 1.4ghz Quad-core processor. The weirdest thing about it all is when compared side by side with my old laptop which has a 2.1ghz processor, the new laptop is easily 5 times faster when loading the same program. So, were all the advertisements misleading, or is it possible there is just some type of error within windows causing the processor to be listed improperly?

Landlord "accidentally" double leased our apartment for the fall?

Hey this is my first time posting, but i wasn't sure where to turn. So i'm a college student and just finished up freshman year. I recently signed a lease for an apartment for next fall and have a binding contract stating that we have the apartment, what the rent will be, terms of the agreement, etc. However, after signing this contract with my roommate on June 7th, i got a call today from our future landlord saying that he had actually already rented our apartment to another tenant on June second and, due to an error on his part, he signed us to the apartment as well. When he informed me of this, he was very apologetic and eager to get us into another unit. However, I'm not happy at all with the situation and feel like we were mislead due to the landlord's idiocy at our own cost. What can we do? should we just accept the fact that he messed up and go with a different unit? i don't think we have any chance of getting our original desired unit since there is already a lease on it that was signed before ours, but we feel like we've been defrauded! help!

Me and my dad got into a big arguement. I have a female friend at work. We've worked together for 2 years now. We're really close and she trusts me quite a bit. As a background she has told me that in general she is a shy person. Kate, it sounds to me like you're afraid of being abandoned so you leave these men before they can leave you & hurt you. It's a defensive mechanism that you sub consciously use as a way to protect yourself from being hurt. Also, you've stated that you've left 8 relationships in 10 years. This tells me that you don't stay in the relationship long enough to even see if it could go somewhere & be very meaningful. I'm glad to hear that you're in therapy & that your therapist is trying to help you with this. You've been through traumatic experiences in some of your relationships, so sub-consciously you feel like all men will hurt you in the end. If you have a really nice boyfriend now & he's very supportive of you then i would share your feelings with him. If he has a better understanding of what you're going through then he'll be able to help you through this. Maybe you could have your boyfriend sit in on one or more of your therapy sessions so you can both get through this together. When you start feeling these bad feelings & try to leave your current boyfriend he'll know why you're doing it & will know how to comfort you & to trust him. I'd hate to see you lose this really nice guy. Does this make sense to you? I don't think you mean to hurt anybody...you just don't want to be hurt yourself. Having these abusive relationships in the past probably doesn't give you much hope for any relationship. You've got to heal from past abuse & not abandon everyone who will love you. How to take out glass of a rear car door?

To me it mathematically spells serious, severe collapse ahead which no democrat, republican, or any BS can evade. But why is this completely dismissed in mainstream media?
