Should Mel Gibson make a movie about the holocaust to show he's not a racist, Jew hating Catholic?

Maybe he could make a movie showing the lighter side of concentration camps. They weren't all gloom and doom, you know. They had archery, nature hikes and ping pong. Some of the people were actually disappointed when the war ended and they had to leave camp and go back to their boring lives in post war suburbia.
