How would you react if your husband spanked you out of anger?

My husband and I were planning on going to a friend's house for dinner yesterday. Before going he asked if we don't stay long...till 11:pm tops because he had a meeting really early in the morning the next day. I said, "yes"....but once we were there the drinking began and to be honest...maybe I was acting a little self fish but I didn't want to go home. He said, "I'm counting to three and if you don't get up and leave with me, I'm going without you". After what he said I got so mad for being treated like a child, that i ignored him. He went outside into the car and waited for me for two hours, (his decision) he kept on calling and calling my cell like a maniac (as if I would come out after what he said to be and in what tone). THEN he came back in and started screaming. Then I finally gave in..he seemed to cool off, but once we said, "bye" to the friend and we closed the door, he slapped me hard on my butt without saying anything...(it was not a s.exy kind of slap..I didn't misinterapt anything) I got mad again and walked back to my friends house. I started calling all my ex lovers and friends (I know bad on my part) This was an on going battle till 3 am in the morning. Now I am not speaking to him for the slap and he's trying to get on my good side. Should I give him the cold shoulder for another couple of days? He makes the money in the house (we have a 4 year old so i stay home and take care of her) He gives me 10,000 dollars a month for everything!!! daughter, groceries, essentials..and it's not enough to take care of everything i want!!...so now he won't add more money until i forgive him...that is SO wrong on so many levels! now I am stuck at home! He's 49, he should know better. I'm 37 btw.
